I am a refugee in my own country
I am the voice of millions
That goes unheard
For more than a decade
I have been raped and murdered
My only crime is to be a woman
In a country where natural resources is worth more than human lives
The world barely talks about us

I would like to scream my pain
How long will I cry in vain ?
I have nowhere to run
This country seems so small
No matter where I hide, I will never be safe
I am a daughter, a sister, a mother and a grandmother
I am a refugee in my own country
