Ô beau et généreux arganier,
toi qui a nourri mes troupeaux.

me protègeant,
moi berger
du soleil brûlant
et des vents chauds
effrénés.

Les hommes tiraillés
par le monde entouré

reniant tribu et loi sacrée

dans leur chute
t'ont arraché
à la terre brune
pâturée.
